DR. HACIKIAN

I met my lovely wife Dr. Bostanci during my first day of orientation at New York University College of Dentistry in 1998. On this journey through our career and life, we jumped in together and managed to continue and grow our professional and personal lives together. I always knew I wanted to have a career in dentistry, but before attending dental school, I went to St. John’s University for my undergrad and majored in mathematics. I then worked in the city as a risk analyst for a bank and realized that my passion was still dentistry. Because I was good with my hands and wanted to put my talent into creating things, I enrolled in NYU and started my career path. We have been at Sky Dental Care, originally known as Five Star Dental, for more than ten years now.

After graduating in 2002 from NYU College of Dentistry, I went on to complete my residency at Kings County Medical center in Brooklyn. I then moved on to work in Gramercy Park, Manhattan before opening up my lovely, family-oriented practice in 2006 in Forest Hills. The location is perfect, the patients are lovely, and we’ve put all our energy into expanding our business.

To keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technology, I participate in continuing education courses year-round. My DDS emphasis is in cosmetic dentistry, teeth whitening and implant restorations. I also provide emergency dentistry and other cosmetic dental procedures at the highest standard of quality. I am prepared to treat dental emergencies promptly and can meet your needs — whether it be Invisalign, pediatric, periodontal or something else. For many years, I have been proudly serving the dental needs of residents in Nassau County, Suffolk County, Long Island, Queens, and New York. I look forward to becoming your long-term dental provider.

 

DR. BOSTANCI

Whether you are a first-time patient or an established patient, my philosophy remains the same – providing all who walk through our doors gentle, affordable, and high-quality care within a comfortable environment. The first step is getting to know me – I am Dr. Nayat Bostanci from Sky Dental Care. I graduated from NYU- College of Dentistry in 2002 with a degree in Dental Surgery. I have been practicing dentistry for 15 years and am a member of the American Dental Association.

Throughout the years, what is important to me as a dentist has remained the same. To me, dentistry is not and has never been only about fixing teeth and sending patients on their way, but about establishing and fostering lifelong relationships with people who genuinely trust me with their oral health. It is about getting to know you, discussing your dental concerns and addressing them in the most caring and cost-effective way possible. When a patient returns to our office after not being seen in quite some time, they usually tell me it is because they lost their job and lost insurance coverage. Others had a change of insurance and unfortunately, our office did not participate. During this time, they would not allow another dentist to touch their teeth. Patients have returned up to 7 years later only with the dental work I last performed to prove it. It makes me feel good to know I am making a lasting impression and a difference in people’s lives. I hope that you too will place your confidence in me and that together, we develop a trusting and long-term relationship that ensures stress free, prolonged dental health.
